Introduction

Perpetua offers diverse feature availability and behaviours based on the chosen goal type for launch, or takeover. This article aims to consolidate and present a comprehensive overview of the distinctions between goal types.

Goal Types Structure Review

Understand more about goal formats in Perpetua, and how they look in our app.

  • 📗Classic Goal
    The type of goal you create on Perpetua also referred to as a "Multi-Campaigns" goal, involves generating a set of campaigns based on the Targeting type you select during goal creation(learn more here).

  • 📘Custom Goal - Single Campaign / Multi-Ad Groups
    The goal can be created either directly on Perpetua or within the Amazon Ad console, and subsequently transferred to Perpetua using the Campaign Takeover functionality (learn more here).

    This is a single campaign with 2 or more Ad Groups.

  • 📒Custom Goal - Single Campaign / Single-Ad Group
    The goal can be created either directly on Perpetua or within the Amazon Ad console, and subsequently transferred to Perpetua using the Campaign Takeover functionality (learn more here).

    This is a single campaign with 1 Ad Group.

Both Single and Multi-Ad Group's custom goals will be showing the "C" (standing for Custom Goal) from the SP goal list dashboard.​
To understand what goal type your goal is from the Perpetua interface, please consider the following options:

Filters:
Apply the following filters from your Sponsored Products Goals tab, which will enable you to view your Taken Over Campaigns from Amazon ("Optimize Campaign") with a "Single Campaign".

Your goals will have a badge applied to them, to highlight the number of Ad Groups.
