Remove a Negative Match in-app

In this section, you'll learn how to remove negative matches applied to your keywords directly from the app. Let's explore where and how:

1️⃣ Go to the goal where you want to remove the negative match and navigate to the "Targets" tab.

2️⃣ Apply the following filters to display the negative matches for this goal, and click "Apply" to save them.

3️⃣ Hover your mouse over the right side of each target until the three dots icon appears. Click on the dots' icon (1) and choose the "Delete Negative Match" option from the list (2).

🚨 Note🚨
Multi-selecting targets and deleting the negative match will not remove the negatives in bulk for this goal. Please consider removing the negatives one at a time, or using the "Bulk Operations" explained in the paragraph below.

Remove a Negative Match in Bulk (via CSV File)

For Sponsored Products only, the following procedure will guide you through removing negative matches to existing goals within your account.

🚨 Note 🚨
The following process enables you to remove negative matches one goal at a time. Bulk removal of negative matches at the account level is not supported.

1️⃣ Navigate to the Sponsored Products goal and access the Targets tab (1). Click on the Bulk Actions icon (2) and select Download CSV Template from the drop-down list (3)

2️⃣ Edit the Downloaded Spreadsheet

Remove the negative matches from the respective fields:

  • Column: A

  • Accepted Values: YES (to apply), NO (to remove).

  • Rows: The row to the target/match type from which you wish to remove a negative match.

💡 Download the file using Comma Separated Values (CSV) once you finished entering your edits.

3️⃣ Upload Your File
Navigate back to the SP goal in your Perpetua account, select the targets tab and, this time, select the Upload Bulk Changes option from the drop-down list.
