Account Connection Procedure

Entity Connecting an Account

Under which profile are you connecting your Amazon Account?

Agency Requirements

The following requirements are crucial to initiate a successful connection of your Amazon Seller Account to Perpetua:

1️⃣ Active Advertising Campaign
At the time of connecting your account, you should have active advertising campaigns.

If otherwise, create a campaign from Amazon to activate advertising, and allow up to 24 hours for the data to sync on Perpetua.

2️⃣ Admin Permission
The Amazon login that you will use to connect the AAA ((Amazon Advertising API) has Admin Permissions on the Campaign Manager

If not, the account owner will need to grant you "View and Edit" permissions by following these instructions.

🚨 Note: The user account that connects the AAA must have advertising permissions on Seller Central to also connect the SP-API. If you have the required "View and Edit" permissions already enabled, ask the owner of the account, to remove all the users and add them back again. This will trigger a refresh. For some reason, Amazon's API can be finicky and can sometimes fail to recognize a valid user. 🚨

Once you have met the requirements, continue with the following step below. 👇

We no longer have access to the SP API

Reason

  • To increase security measures for sellers, Amazon has initiated a new program known as Developer Access Confirmation. Under this program, sellers are required to reaffirm access to developers like Perpetua every 12 months, also referred to as re-authentication of the SP-API.
Failure to confirm access may result in a notification appearing at the bottom of your Perpetua screen, as the SP-API will automatically disconnect.

💡 How to Fix

  • By clicking on the "Reconnect Selling Partner API" button.
