What is Sales & Traffic Reporting Tab?

Perpetua's Sales & Traffic Tab allows you to combine sales data from Vendor Central — Amazon Retail Analytics (ARA) — with your advertising data to estimate organic sales and measure the impact of Amazon Advertising on total sales.

In the past, Perpetua users with Vendor accounts had to upload a sales diagnostic report (.csv) from ARA to view their Sales data. This data will now be automatically loaded onto the Perpetua dashboard for easy viewing. Users only need to sign in to their Vendor Central account through our app.

How to View Vendor Reporting

To auto-load your vendor sales data to Perpetua, you must be the Account Owner/admin on Vendor Central (VC).

  1. Go to the Sales & Traffic tab on the left sidebar and click Authenticate with Vendor Central.

  2. This will take you to the Amazon login page. Please note that you must be the account owner on VC for this to work.

  3. Once you've logged in, click Confirm.

  4. The “Brand Analytics” line item in the authorization screen must be present for our vendor sales ingestion process to work properly.

  5. Once you click Confirm, you will see the screen below.

  6. 🎉 The data will now load on the Perpetua dashboard.

Inventory Data

Vendors can now also see an inventory count of their ASINs on Perpetua.

This inventory count is from Rapid Retail Analytics, specifically the "Highly Available Inventory Units" metric.

What does "Highly Available Inventory Units" include?

  • This inventory metric represents the number of units for a given ASIN available to be sold on the website

  • The units must be in sellable condition

  • Any units that are in customer shopping carts or set aside for Subscribe & Save are excluded from the count (ie. "not available")

  • In other words, this inventory count represents the stock value that's most available for sale to shoppers.

*Note: we currently pull this data once a day so the inventory value per ASIN is up to date on a daily basis.

You may notice a difference between the inventory data shown in Vendor Central vs what you're seeing on Perpetua in the Sales & Traffic tab.

Inventory data in Vendor Central may have a delay of a few days, whereas the data source Perpetua is using enables us to pull inventory data up to the day before. Vendor Central reports may not exclude products in shopping carts and Subscribe & Save (which Rapid Retail Analytics does exclude).
