How to Access Walmart Performance Reports

Learn what reports are available and how to generate them in the Walmart Ad Center

Written by Mackenzie Stasko

As a Walmart advertiser, regularly reviewing performance reports helps you understand how your campaigns, keywords, and products are performing.

These reports can help identify optimization opportunities such as refining keyword targeting, adjusting bids, and reallocating spend to top-performing items.

What Performance Reports Are Available?

Walmart Ad Center provides several report types that allow advertisers to analyze performance across keywords, placements, and products.

Common report types include:

Keyword Performance

Provides insight into how your ads perform across different search terms and keywords.

This data can help:

  • Refine keyword strategies

  • Identify high-performing search terms

  • Optimize bidding decisions

Placement Performance

Breaks down performance based on where ads are shown, such as:

  • Search results (Search In-Grid)

  • Browse pages (Browse In-Grid)

  • Carousel placements

  • Buy Box placements

This helps identify which placements are driving the best performance and informs bid adjustments.

Item Keyword Performance

Provides visibility into how individual products perform against specific keywords.

This can be used to:

  • Identify strong-performing keyword-product combinations

  • Expand successful terms into manual targeting

  • Optimize or remove underperforming combinations

Item Performance
Provides performance metrics at the product level across campaigns.

This helps determine:

  • Which products are driving results

  • Where to increase or reduce spend

  • Overall product-level efficiency

Campaign Snapshot

Provides a bulk export of campaign structure and settings.

This can be useful for:

  • Reviewing campaign setup

  • Auditing account structure

  • Supporting campaign migrations or analysis
