Introduction
Managing product information can be tricky, especially with the constant need to keep details accurate and up-to-date. Perpetua introduced the "Sync ASINs" feature to help with this.
It’s a metadata management procedure that keeps your product details in check across Amazon and Perpetua - like updating prices and product images or correcting product descriptions. With this, you can easily organize and update product information, cut down on errors, and make sure everything runs smoothly.
Supported vs Not Supported Actions
📗 Supported
Update the title, image, price, brand, and parent asin for the ASIN you enter.
Update the parent-child relationship on Perpetua.
📕Not Supported
Update an ASIN that no longer exists.
Update the ASIN if the ASIN was not originally added to Perpetua beforehand (learn how to add a missing product here).
Update the children of the ASIN you enter.
Step-by-Step Guide
1️⃣ Access the "Sponsored Products" tab from the left-side panel of your Perpetua account (1) and navigate to the "Products" tab in it (2).
2️⃣ Click on the "Sync ASINs" icon.
3️⃣ In the pop-up window, enter the list of ASINs for which you'd like to update the metadata. Make sure the list doesn't have any blank spaces after the last ASIN entered.
🚨 Note🚨
You can submit up to 20 ASINs each time.
Should the number of ASINs be over this limit, please consider repeating the procedure for the remaining products.
Click on the "Sync ASINs" purple button to confirm.
4️⃣ You will be notified with a successful message confirming the action (1).
Click "Done" (2) to terminate the procedure.
5️⃣ While executing the synchronization of your product's metadata using the above-explained flow, you may encounter error messages such as:
🗨️Error Message: "Not an existing managed product".
💡Solution: Manually add your product to Perpetua (Learn how here).
🗨️Error Message: "Could not Update Product".
💡Solution: Please reach out to your Data Strategist, or our Live Chat Support team to address the message.
