What is the executive dashboard?

If you are advertising in multiple marketplaces (Amazon, Instacart, and so on) in different countries, you may want to see a holistic overview of your brand's performance.

Perpetua's Executive Dashboard, also called Exec Dash, allows users to see performance across different platforms into one view. It has the following parts:

  1. Aggregate Performance

    1. This is our classic graph with 4 tiles/panels above it

  2. Performance by Account

    1. This is a table.

    2. Performance by Account means that you can compare performance across two different Perpetua accounts. For example, you can compare your Perpetua Amazon Seller account to your Perpetua Amazon Vendor account. Users must be viewing the Executive Dashboard through a Manager Account to see multi-account performance. If you are viewing the Executive Dashboard through a regular Perpetua account, you will not see this component. This is explained in How to Access the Executive Dashboard below.

  3. Funnel Performance

    1. This is a progress bar + table

    2. For example, you can compare top of funnel to middle or bottom of funnel.

  4. Performance by marketplace

    1. This is a pie chart + table.

    2. For example, you can compare Amazon to Instacart and Walmart.

  5. Performance by Geography

    1. This is a pie chart + table.

    2. For example, you can compare Canada vs. United States.

  6. Performance by ad unit

    1. This is a pie chart + table.

    2. For example, you can compare performance between Amazon Sponsored Products, Brands and Display ads

If you are only advertising on Amazon in one country, you can still take advantage of the Executive Dashboard by using the 3. Funnel Performance and 6. Performance by Ad Unit.

Note:

  • Amazon DSP data is included on this dashboard.

  • All values will be converted to USD. The ability to select your currency will come later.

  • The conversion rate we use will be based on the conversion rate we have for the date of the data point, so it will not be real-time data.

How to Access the Executive Dashboard

There are two versions of the executive dashboard.

  • If you want to view performance for only 1 Perpetua account follow the steps below. You will not see Performance by Account if you use this method.

    • This method will suffice if you have an account for 3 countries in the same region. For example, you have one Perpetua account for North America and Canada and the United States.

  • If you want to view performance for more than 1 Perpetua account, then you need to place the accounts inside a Manager Account, and view the Executive Dashboard through the Manager Account. Click here for instructions.

To access the Executive Dashboard for 1 Perpetua account, click the globe icon in the top left corner of the screen.

Performance by Account

Performance by Account will include a table. As usual, you are able to customize the metrics you can see, and generate a .csv export of the data displayed for the date range you have selected.

Once again, you are only able to compare 2 or more Perpetua accounts if they are in a Manager Account, and you are accessing the dashboard through a Manager Account. If you are viewing the Executive Dashboard from an individual account, then you will not see this table at all.

Click here for instructions on how to set up a Manager Account.

Funnel Performance

Funnel Performance will include a progress bar and table underneath. The breakdown shows aggregate performance for Perpetua-managed campaigns only. As usual, you are able to customize the metrics you can see, and generate a .csv export of the data displayed for the date range you have selected.

(Please be advised that the values in the screenshot shown below are not reflective of real data.)

Click on any stage of the funnel to isolate data in your table.

The funnel will be broken down into top, middle and bottom of funnel. For example, Perpetua will designate Amazon SP - Universal goals as bottom of funnel by default. Users can modify the funnel definitions, meaning that I can set Amazon Sponsored Product Universal goals as middle of funnel if that is my preference. The user's preferences will be saved (even after you log out, and log back in). Follow the steps below to find out how to define your own top, middle and bottom funnels.

How to edit Funnel Definitions

  1. Hover over the segment of your choice in the table to expose the pencil icon. Click the pencil icon.

  2. 🔘 Select the funnel stage you want this segment to belong to.

  3. Click Update to save your changes.

Performance by Marketplace, Geography and Ad Unit

Performance by marketplace, geography and ad unit will all have a pie chart and table. An example is shown in the image below. The breakdown will show data for all campaigns by default, including ones that are not managed by Perpetua. Performance by ad unit (SP/SB/SD) will be available for Amazon accounts only.

As usual, you are able to customize the metrics you can see, and generate a .csv export of the data displayed for the date range you have selected.
