Quick Links:

The Walmart Tab

When you first log in to Perpetua, you'll first want to ensure that you're on the correct marketplace tab on the left-hand menu. If you operate in multiple marketplaces on Perpetua such as Amazon, Instacart, Walmart, etc., you'll be able to seamlessly move between dashboards for each marketplace by using the marketplace tabs.

To head over to the Walmart dashboard, make sure you've selected the Walmart marketplace tab, which is labeled with the Walmart logo.

Metrics/Graph Overview

Once you're on the Walmart tab, here you'll see an overview of your Walmart Sponsored Products advertising performance. The metrics above the graph and on the graph will show an aggregate view of your advertising performance, based on the selected date range at the top right corner of your screen.

If you'd like to change the metrics you're viewing both in the boxes and on the graph, you can simply click the "Add Metric" icon on the right, and remove and add metrics as you wish! You can also choose how many metrics you'd to graph, with a maximum of 4 metrics in total.

Changing The Date Range

You can also alter the date range that you're viewing by clicking on the date button at the top right corner. By default, it'll always be set to the last 7 days, but you can easily edit this by selecting a preset range or by using a custom range.

Device Usage and Ad Placement Pie Charts

Just below the main graph, you'll see two different pie charts: one for device usage and one for ad placements.

Device Usage Pie Chart

This chart allows you to see the performance of the device type the products in your campaign are displaying on.

  • Desktop performance from the Walmart.com website on desktop and tablets

  • App performance from the Walmart iOS and Android apps

  • Mobile performance from the Walmart.com website on mobile web

You'll be able to use the drop-down arrow here to see device usage by various performance metrics (ex. clicks, impressions, attributed sales, etc.)

Ad Placements Pie Chart

This chart shows you the performance of which ad placements the items in your campaign are showing on.

  • Search In-Grid - performance from ads served on the Search In-grid placement

  • Browse In-Grid - performance from ads served on the Browse In-grid placement

  • Carousel - performance from ads served on the Search, Browse, and Item Carousel placements

  • Homepage - performance from ads served on the Home Page placements

  • Stockup - performance from ads served on the Stock Up placement

  • Buybox - performance from ads served on the Buy Box placement

  • Others - performance where Walmart couldn't capture which placement the ads served on.

You'll be able to use the drop-down arrow here to see device usage by various performance metrics (ex. clicks, impressions, attributed sales, etc.)

The "Goals" Tab

We'll now move to the "Goals" table, which you'll see when you scroll down on the same page. Here, you'll be able to see a quick overview of all the goals that are currently active on your account.

Remember: With Perpetua, 1 goal can encompass multiple types of campaigns, which is why we call it a goal, rather than a campaign.

Search Bar

The search bar allows you to search for your goals by goal name.

Customizing Columns

There are default metrics that are displayed for the Goals table, but you can simply click the customize columns icon (the 3 vertical lines) to add and remove metrics as you wish. You can also re-arrange your columns to ascend or descend by clicking the arrows beside the metrics.

Export Table as CSV

You'll also be able to export the table as a CSV using the download icon just beside the customize columns icon (the pointing down arrow).

Adding Percentage Changes For Metrics

Click the percentage icon (%) to see the percentage change for each metric. The % below each metric represents the relative increase and decrease by comparing the current period to the prior period. For example, if you're viewing data from the last 7 days (ex. Feb 14 to Feb 20), it will compare performance between this date range and the 7 days before it (ex. Feb 7 to Feb 13).

Changing Budgets and Target ROAS

This view also allows you to easily change the budget and Target ROAS of your goals. You can do this by scrolling to the right of the table hovering over the row and clicking on the pencil icon beside the parameter you'd like to adjust.

The "Products" Tab

We'll now move to the Products tab, located right beside the Goals tab. Here, you'll be able to see a list of all the current products/item IDs that are associated with your Walmart Seller/Supplier account.

You can use the search bar to search by product title, and have access to all the same customizations for the columns in the table as you did on the Goals tab!
