Introduction
Whether your product is out-of-stock or your advertising strategy has changed, you may want to pause products in your goal for some time. Below, you'll find a step-by-step walkthrough on how to do this in your Sponsored Products goals.
How to Pause ASINs
Go to the Sponsored Products tab from the left sidebar and click on the Products tab.
a)Find the parent ASIN of the product you want to pause. Click 🔽 to expose the variants (child listings) grouped under this parent.
b)Click on the "Display Products as Variants" icon to edit the viewing list of your Product Catalogue:
Click the 3 dots and select "Pause Variant". If the ASIN is paused successfully, you will see a pop-up message indicating as such and the ASIN itself will have the "paused" status in the products table.
If you ever need to enable your ASIN, follow the same steps as above but select the "Optimize Variant" after clicking the 3 dots instead.
🚨 Note: If your Sponsored Products goal is only advertising one ASIN, deleting the ASIN will also delete the goal in Perpetua. More information on deleting ASINs is available in this article. 🚨
How to Pause SKU Types
If you need to pause the FBA or FBM SKU for your ASIN rather than the entire product, the process to do this is very similar with just a couple of minor differences.
Once you've navigated to the Products section and found your desired ASIN, click the 3 dots once again, but this time select Edit Status by SKU.
Upon doing so, a pop-up will appear that allows you to pause or enable specific SKUs for that ASIN. Simply toggle on or off the desired ones and press Update Statuses.
