Introduction

This feature enables DSP users to incorporate various combinations of AMC audiences into their campaigns, either as standalone strategies or as supplements to existing core DSP strategies. AMC audiences offer several advantages over DSP: they provide a longer look-back window, display the actual audience size, grant access to events that are otherwise unavailable, and offer unique modelled (lookalike) audience types with greater granularity.

Find out below how to build your AMC Audiences in Perpetua.

Step-by-Step Guide

1️⃣ Go to the "DSP" tab on the left-side panel of your Perpetua account (1), then select the "AMC Audiences" tab within it (2):

2️⃣ From here, you can create your audience by accessing the "Build Audience" tab, which offers a list of audiences categorized by Awareness, Consideration, and Conversion.

Awareness:
Utilize these audience types to introduce your brand and products to potential customers at the beginning of their buyer journey.

High-Value Shoppers Lookalike

Shoppers who share similar characteristics with the top percentage of customers based on product sales within the specified time period you define.

Past Purchasers Lookalike

Shoppers with similar characteristics to those who purchased your products in the time period you define.

New To Brand Purchasers Lookalike

Shoppers with similar characteristics to those who purchased your products for the first time in the time period you define.

Consideration:
Provide your shoppers with relevant information to help them understand how your products can meet their needs.

Search Term Targeting

Shoppers who searched for a specific number of terms in the time period you define.

Repeat Page Viewers

Shoppers who viewed your product pages in the period of time you define.

Subscribe and Save Shoppers

Shoppers who subscribed to your products in the period of time you define.

Conversion

Encourage these audiences to complete their purchase by showcasing your value proposition and providing incentives.

High-Value Shoppers

The top percentage of customers by product sales over the time period you define.

Add To Cart Targeting

Shoppers who added your products to their cart in the period of time you define and did not purchase.

Add To Wishlist Targeting

Shoppers who added your products to their wishlist in the period of time you define and did not purchase.

3️⃣ According to the audience you pick, the creation flow differs from one to another.
For instance, creating an audience for "Past Purchasers Lookalike",

vs. "High-Value Shoppers".

4️⃣ Click on the "Create" purple button to confirm the Audience configuration:

🚨 Note 🚨

  • If you don't have an AMC instance ID on file with Perpetua yet, the "Create" button will be greyed out until you have one. Please reach out to your Data Strategist to request one.

  • Amazon will reject any AMC audience under 2,000 unique shoppers.
The approval process can take up to 3 days.

5️⃣ Review your created Audience/s by accessing the "Review Audiences" tab, where you have access to view their Status, Creation Date, and other configurations.

6️⃣ You can filter your audiences according to their statuses:

Some configurations from the table will show more details when hovering over them.
For example, Status, ASINs, Reach and Search Terms.
