Introduction

With Product Tags you can effortlessly group and organize products in the Sales & Traffic tab, streamlining the review of reports and performance analysis of distinct product groups. You can define your own three product tags, creating customized keys and values.
For instance, keys could include Category, Product Stage, or Target Total ACOS, while values might encompass options like Kids' Shoes, Newly Launched, or 25%.

Assigning these product tags to each ASIN allows you to categorize and organize your products effectively.

In the Sales & Traffic table, you can then group products based on these tags, facilitating easy comparison and analysis of performance across different product groupings.

Moreover, you can assign these tags in bulk to various ASINs, download the table data, and filter the table based on product tags.

This functionality is invaluable for customers who seek to group products by Amazon brand, Amazon category, and common product attributes such as colour, size, or flavour. By doing so, you can generate reports on performance against the budget set for these diverse product groupings, aiding in strategic decisions regarding enabling, pausing, doubling down, or scaling back ads on specific product groups.

Product Tags Spreadsheet Breakdown

Getting your product tags uploaded is just a few steps away. Ensure a smooth process by reviewing the following considerations when editing the spreadsheet: familiarize yourself with the table structure, address any errors promptly, and be prepared for seamless uploading

  • You have the option to assign up to 3 product tags to each ASIN.

  • To create a product tag, simply rename the 3“Product Tag #” columns (D, E and F) as you like. For example, to create a Shoe type product tag, simply rename the column name to the “Shoe type” tag.

  • Enter specific tag values for easy organization of ASIN and filtering. For example, use tags like "Shoe Types" to assign values such as Sneakers, Boots, Sandals, and Flats

  • If you prefer not to apply any tags to a product, leave the tag cell empty.

Troubleshooting Spreadsheet Errors

The "Errors" column (H) in the spreadsheet provides details on why the file upload failed.

Listed below are several potential errors you might encounter, along with their respective solutions for resolution:

1️⃣ ASIN Does Not Exist

  • Reason:
You've observed that a product/ASIN is absent from the downloaded list and are attempting to include it using this spreadsheet to apply a tag.

  • Resolution:
Confirm that the product/ASIN you intend to tag already exists in your account. If not, consider adding it by following the guidelines outlined in this article.

This feature is being continuously improved. The above lists will be updated regularly to reflect the current state.
