The daily budget is the amount that you're willing to spend on your campaign each day.

Amazon has changed the way daily budgets are spent. For campaigns created after March 27, 2023, if they spend less than your daily budget, the remainder can be used to increase your daily budget up to 100% on other days of the calendar month. For campaigns created before March 27, 2023, the increase is up to 25% instead.

You can choose to opt-in to 100% increases on daily budgets or enable 25% increases only for all your campaigns. To do this, navigate to your Ad Console, then to Sponsored ads → Campaign Manager → Settings.

If you don't see the option in your Ad Console, this change can also be made in Perpetua directly. To do this, navigate to Account Settings → Campaign Settings, and you'll see the option to set your max campaign budget rollover to 25% or 100% for all campaigns.

🚨 Note: By default, all campaigns created after March 27th will have a 100% budget rollover and all campaigns created before will have a 25% rollover. You can choose to have 25% for all campaigns or 100% for all, but once you select it, you will not be able to go back to that split of some having 25% and some having 75%. 🚨

Regardless of your choice, at the end of the month, you won't spend more than the daily budget you've set, multiplied by the number of days in that month.

  • For example, if your daily budget is $10 and there are 30 days in the month, the maximum you'll spend that month is $300.

Once you've reached your daily budget, your campaign will pause until the following day when your daily budget resets. More information on this from Amazon can be found here.
