The account connection process for Instacart is a two part process.
Grant Perpetua API Access as an Agency User
Activate the Instacart Marketplace on Perpetua
If you are new to Instacart advertising and don't have an Instacart ad account, you'll first need to request an account here.
1) How to grant Perpetua API Access as an Agency User
This is done by the client on Instacart directly. The following information will be needed:
Agency Legal Name: Perpetua
Email: instacart@perpetua.io
2) Instacart Account Connection Process
Navigate to User Management
1. Log into Ads Manager
2. Navigate to settings (click top left carrot icon)
3. Select “⚙️ Settings”
4. Select “User Management”
Adding New User As Admin
Steps:
1. Click Invite User
2. Enter Users Email Address
3. Select Agency User
4. Enter the Legal Name of the Agency
5. Check the box
Selecting User Role Access - Full Campaign Management
Select the highlighted circles. - By doing so, Perpetua can create OAuth applications and create, update, and view performance metrics via the API and through Ads Manager.
Once the API Permission is granted to Perpetua, the next part will be to activate the Instacart Marketplace on Perpetua.
3) Perpetua Instacart Connection
Steps for existing Perpetua clients
Navigate to the Instacart 🥕 icon in the far left sidebar of your account.
2. Choose your Organization.
3. Choose Instacart as your account type and select your region (Note: Instacart ads are currently only supported in the US and Canada) and click 'Next'.
4. Reach out to hello@perpetua.io or your Data Strategist to complete Account Connection.
🆕 Steps for new Perpetua clients
Navigate to Perpetua.io and click 'Get Started'.
Verify your email address through steps provided.
After you verify your email address, you'll be asked to create an Organization.
Log into your account and click Add Account.
Choose your Organization.
Choose Instacart as your Account Type.
Select your advertising region (United States or Canada) and reach out to hello@perpetua.io to finalize the connection process.
