Overview

The AI Keyword Research Tool helps you instantly generate high-value search terms for your Amazon campaigns. By analyzing your advertised ASINs or custom descriptions, our AI suggests keywords categorized based on your intent (Head Terms, Long Tail Terms, or Exploratory Terms) and cross-references them with Search Frequency Rank (SFR) data.

Use this tool to:

  • Expand your keyword targeting with AI-generated suggestions.

  • Identify "Head" and "Long Tail" terms for core targeting.

  • Discover "Exploratory" terms to reach new niche audiences.

  • Check if you are already targeting specific terms to avoid overlap.

Where to Find It

You can access the AI Keyword Research Tool in two main areas of the platform:

  • Goal Launch Flow: Look for the tool when setting up low-data Multi-Campaign goals or any Single Campaign Goals.

  • Add Targets Flow: Accessible within the Goal Deep Dive while adding new Targets. Click into a Goal > Targets tab > Plus icon > Add Targets

How to Use the Tool

Step 1: Choose Your Source

Tell the AI where to look for inspiration. You can generate keywords based on:

  • Advertised ASIN: The AI analyzes the product name of the ASIN you are currently advertising.

  • Custom Description: Enter your own product description, a specific root word, or a competitor’s ASIN to steer the AI in a specific direction.

You also have access to a non-AI option to simply explore the list of current top SFR terms on Amazon. This option requires Brand Registry.

Step 2: Select Keyword Categories

Select the type of keywords you want to generate. You can mix and match these options:

  • Head Terms: High-volume keywords that cast a wide net. Great for awareness campaigns, but more competitive.

  • Long Tail Terms: Specific, intent-driven keywords with lower search volume but likely higher ROI.

  • Exploratory Terms: Adjacent keywords that reach users in research mode. Good for top-of-funnel awareness and expanding addressable audience.

Step 3: Review & Refine Results

The tool will generate a list of keywords to review.

  • Check SFR: Review the Search Frequency Rank column to gauge popularity.

  • Check Overlap: Look for the "Already Targeted" flag. This warns you if a search term is already targeting in another Goal.

  • Refresh: Need more ideas? Click the Refresh icon to generate new terms based on your criteria.

Step 4: Add to Goal

  1. Select the terms you want by choosing a match type (Exact, Phrase, or Broad) for each.

  2. Click Add Targets.
